About CivicForge

The name is the strategy

Civic supplies the trust and gravity of a public institution; forge supplies the craft and discipline of a maker.

Why we exist

Why software has to reach first

Most software was built on an assumption that no longer holds: that when something matters, the person will open the right application, find the right information, and act in time. A working day is split across calendars, messages, documents and accounts, and the information arrives without priority.

The same failure appears in money. A budget explains what happened. An alert confirms that money moved. Accuracy after the decision is not the same as help before it.

The standard

Responsible intervention, not maximum autonomy

Proactive software becomes intrusive faster than passive software becomes useful. So the standard has to be responsible intervention.

Observe only what was authorized

Each agent sees only what you allow.

Act in one defined domain

Each agent has one job, and stays inside it.

Know when to abstain

Staying quiet is a designed outcome, not a failure.

Explain why it spoke

When an agent reaches you, it says why.

Let you correct, pause, or stop it

You decide, every time.

Decision-time intelligence

Evidence enters, deterministic rules identify a decision window, the agent intervenes or abstains, and the outcome is measured. The product is not the call. The product is a better decision made in time.

How we run

A company of lean, AI-run product lines

Rather than building one monolithic product, CivicForge stands up and runs a set of focused, single-purpose product lines. Each is treated as its own lean company: led by a Director whose only job is that line, paired with a Deputy Director, and staffed by AI agents that perform marketing, sales, finance, data, research, and customer support.

A small corporate team is responsible for the whole of CivicForge, keeping every Director free to focus on one thing. Strategy and the Board, operations, finance, technology, and legal each have one accountable owner.

Our path

Evidence set the order

CivicForge began with the Equity Engine, a capital-raising platform for founders, shaped by our work with veteran-owned companies. Customer discovery then pointed to a larger problem with a larger market: people miss their goals far more often for want of follow-through at the moment of decision than for want of capital.

So we built the personal agents first. Flow, Stylist, George and Butler are open now. The Equity Engine is in development and follows. The principle is simple: lead with the biggest problem, and let each launch de-risk the next.

Trust and standards

Built to be checked

Trust is not a slogan here; it is the product. This page answers the questions any careful visitor should ask, and it is where we publish what we hold ourselves to.

Your data

What each agent sees, and what it never sees

Each agent sees only what you allow, acts inside one domain, and hands the choice back to you. It never spends your money.

Agent
What it sees
What it never sees or does
Flow
The Google Calendar you connect, about one week back and two weeks ahead. The priorities, reminders, notes and documents you give it. Your phone number, call audio and transcripts, only if you turn on voice calls and texts.
Your bank or card accounts. Calendars you have not connected. It reads your calendar and never writes to it, never shares your documents, and never moves money.
Stylist
Your wardrobe photos and the tags made from them. Your style preferences. The ZIP code you enter, used only for the weather forecast. Your schedule, to match the outfit to the day. Photos of you, only with your separate consent.
Your bank or card accounts. It never uses your photos to recognize you, verify your identity, or build a face template, and it never buys anything.
George
The purchases you log and the limits you set. You enter purchases yourself until bank linking launches.
Your bank accounts and bank credentials: no bank is connected. George never moves money, never spends, and never gives investment, tax, or legal advice.
Butler
The maintenance items, warranties, utilities, pet care schedules, meal plans, grocery lists, and people and dates you add. Allergy and diet preferences, only with your separate consent.
Your bank or card accounts. Butler never places an order, pays a bill, or spends money. It gives no medical or nutrition advice.

For every agent: we do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use your calendar, documents, photos, allergy and diet information, or voice recordings to train AI models. You can disconnect a source, delete an item, withdraw a consent, or delete your account at any time. Full detail, including our service providers and retention, is in the Privacy Policy.

What the agents refuse to do

No CivicForge agent ever moves money, spends on your behalf, or places an order. George keeps a record of the spending you log and gives no investment, tax, or legal advice. Flow reads your calendar and never writes to it; it proposes the week, and you decide what goes on your calendar. Stylist works from the clothes you own. Butler gives no medical or nutrition advice. Equity Engine, Pro Se and The Lab are in development and are not available.

Why you can check our claims

Every factual claim on this site carries its source and its status. Flow’s research basis is cited on the Flow page. Where an agent’s rules are design hypotheses that have not been tested, the agent’s page says so. Anything not yet available is labeled In development.
